Open Programme

WEA Riddle's Court Photography Group

The WEA Edinburgh Branch has been running an open programme of classes and workshops for adults of all ages and at all stages of life since 1912.  WEA Open Programme includes classes on history, language, political studies, art, creative writing, computing, literature and theatre.

Classes are held in Central Edinburgh and are often inspired by and make use of the rich collections in libraries, archives, museums, galleries and theatres, as well as the City and its people.

We are now taking bookings for classes beginning in February 2015.

"I discovered places I’d not seen before and learnt a lot about them…I enjoyed it enormously and it got me out of the house!  Inspired me to find out more on my own.
